Automatic Egg Carton Closing System
OvoCloser is a packing automation system that automatically closes filled trays after grading and packing, making them ready for dispatch. It reduces manual carton closing and raises the automation level of the packing process.
Automatic closing at the OvoPacker exit, uninterrupted packing. OvoCloser is a carton closing system that can be optionally integrated at the exit of BG Makina OvoPacker PX series egg packing machines, automatically closing the lids of lidded egg cartons.

On OvoPacker PX models, when eggs are filled into 10, 12, 15-egg and similar lidded cartons, it closes the carton lid automatically with no operator intervention.
If needed, OvoCloser can be positioned as a standalone machine at the end of the setting line, raising the level of automation from egg filling to carton closing.

OvoCloser's core purpose is to automate the manual carton closing done after egg filling, reducing operator requirements and improving packing line continuity.
Cartons filled by the OvoPacker have their lids closed automatically when they reach the OvoCloser, ready for the next stage of packing. Setting and carton closing become a single continuous process — and it can be retrofitted to an existing OvoPacker line.
